Dave Emerick – Spencer Jamison – Rich Wyskiel – Dave Petr – Todd Clouse
Dave Emerick
Dave has worked and lived in the Baltimore area since moving from Vermont in 1988. In 1990, Dave formed Emerick Woodworking, and worked out of his shops in Butler Village, Hunt Valley and Monkton. For 14 years, Emerick Woodworking designed, built and installed hundreds of custom woodworking elements in Baltimore area homes. In 2004, Dave joined Blake Contracting, to sell Feature Flooring, an innovative commercial kitchen flooring product. In 2005, Dave was promoted to Vice President of Operations, and continues to this day as an operations consultant for Blake. In 2009, Dave, Spencer Jamison and a small group of skilled craftsmen founded the idea for a specialized, service oriented home contracting outfit. The result was Ruxton Services.
Spencer Jamison
Born and raised in Baltimore, Spencer is a graduate of Boy’s Latin and Roanoke College with a BA in Set Design. Upon graduating from college, Spencer turned his avocation into a vocation and has proven himself a highly skilled and creative craftsman, as well as a professional project manager. Spencer lives in Butler Maryland and serves as a volunteer with the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Department.
Rich Wyskiel
Rich is a graduate of Boys Latin and Lynchburg University. Rich has worked for Ilex and Winchester Homes doing project management, home construction, and finishing work.
David Petr
David is a graduate of Loyola Blakefield and Maryland Institute College of Art. He has years of experience in contracting and home renovation with focused skills in fine carpentry and faux painting as well as years of fine furniture refinishing.
Todd Clouse
Began his woodworking career at Emerick Woodworking at age 15. After graduating from Towson High School, began an apprenticeship at the Hubbard Cabinetmakers in Butler, MD. Learned the finer points of building and finishing high-end furniture, including carving, dovetail joinery, and French polish finishing. Following a six year apprenticeship, moved to Adajian/Nelson, a premier restoration and repair cabinet/furniture shop.
